Alexandra Garey is a Junior at Ringling College of Art and Design. That’s right, what you just scrolled through is student work. Hard to believe, isn’t it? I love the simple honesty and clever thoughtfulness she puts into her design. One of my favorite works is her CD packaging for Nora & Apollo (2nd image). The die cut cover creates a “moving, warping, optical illusion of colors and lines representing the sound waves of the music” as the sleeve is being pulled out. Brilliant.
